On Sunday Bob Neill visited the Open Gardens Norlands in aid of St Christopher’s Hospice. Thirteen brilliant gardens were on display, and a total of £3, 000 was raised for this worthy cause.
The Norlands Community opened their gardens as part of the Open Gardens Festival 2014, a scheme set up by St Christopher’s to share some of our most beautiful local gardens with the public whilst also raising much needed funds for the hospice.
More gardens will be opening their gates to the public in Bromley, Chislehurst, and indeed the south-east of London throughout June and July, and it was a real pleasure to cut the ribbon at this brilliant event with the Mayor and Mayoress of Bromley, alongside Margaret Drew and Ron and Inge Pratt (in photo).
