In a decision that will bolster Green Belt protection in Bickley, the Mayor of London has advised Bromley Council to refuse permission to build on the site at Blackbrook Lane.
Concerns about this particular application have been raised by Bob Neill MP, James Cleverly AM and all three Conservative ward councillors, Kate Lymer, Colin Smith and Catherine Rideout.
Commenting on the Mayor’s decision, Bob Neill said:
“It was clear from the outset that the proposed development was entirely inappropriate on this strip of designated Green Belt land. Strong protections are in place for a reason, and I am pleased that the Mayor has sought to uphold the integrity of plan-led decision making in our Borough.”
