I was honoured and delighted to be selected as the Conservative candidate last night for the new Bromley and Biggin Hill constituency for the next general election.
It has been an enormous privilege to serve as the Member of Parliament for Bromley and Chislehurst over the last seventeen years, and before that, as the London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley.
I look forward to continuing to put forward a positive agenda, making the case for the sort of moderate, pragmatic, fiscally sound One Nation Conservative policies that attracted me to the Conservative Party in the first place, and which I have advocated throughout my political career.
