Bob Neill, the Member of Parliament for Bromley & Chislehurst, has been reselected as the Conservative Party’s candidate for the constituency at the next General Election, taking place on 8 June.
A decision to re-select Bob was taken at an executive meeting of the Bromley & Chislehurst Conservative Association on Monday 24 April.
After the meeting, Bob said:
“I am absolutely delighted that the local Conservative Party has re-selected me as its candidate for Bromley & Chislehurst at the forthcoming General Election. It has been a tremendous honour to serve the constituency since 2006, and I will be campaigning hard over the next six weeks to get the Conservative Party’s positive message across.
If re-elected, I will continue to do everything in my power to stand up for local residents, support local businesses, and champion local causes. That means holding the Government to account on the things that matter to us locally – like school funding or the reliability of our rail service – as well as scrutinising policy to ensure it works in the best interests of the residents of Bromley and Chislehurst, and Britain as a whole.”
